Maria Fedorova was born in Moscow.
• 1974 Graduated from the Moscow Textile Institute, Department of Decorative Arts, with an MA and honors. Since 1972, participated in over sixty art exhibitions worldwide.
Solo exhibitions in: Russia, Belgium, Germany, USA, Embassy of Mexico, Embassy of Italy. Her artworks are held in the collections of the Bolshoi Theater Museum, the Museum of Musical Culture named for Glinka, regional museums, the Russian Cultural Center in Washington, D.C., and in private collections. Since 1979 she has designed costumes for the State Dance Company of Russia, the Russian Song Folk Ensemble, and a number of dramatic and musical productions.
